When flying the default 747, ATC starts my descent too late and I end up overshooting the runway. Is this a feature or did I miss a configuration item? Seems to work OK with the 737.Any thoughts would be appreciated.Thanks much.

Steepen your descent and contol your airspeed. Descend at 2000 - 2300 feet per minute and keep your airspeed around 300 - 320 KIAS above FL180 then reduce speed to be at 250 KIAS as you pass 10,000 feet. Use the spoiler as needed to maintain these speeds. R-
