Dynamics Options: need help

Featured Replies

Hi there,i usually fly offline after metar loaded and i am a bit confused. If i want to fly in eastern US (UTC-6) at local 9am i download a metar for UTC 3pm + 2-3 following hours metars. And if i fly in Japan (UTC +9) at local 11am the same manner i download UTC 02am metar + 2-3 following hours metars. Is this procedure correct? And, wich options should i check in Dynamics section? Actually i have all checkboxes checked! Thanks in advance for helpingLuigi ;-)

Hi Jim,FS9 is set to use System time. But often i change FS time via world menu: i do not like so much flying at night and i usually set daytime suiting my flightplans. Now my local time is 22.29, so, starting from my local apt (LIML) using system time it means i should fly during night time. So i go back in the morning. In ASV i have disabled Use System Time Option and all other options are enabled. I'd like to use Auto Set FS Time on Archive D/L together with ICS and i have selected in Active Environment ICS+ Random Sky/Env.So i start ASV in offline mode/paused, download an archive METAR plus 3 maybe 4 Additional Consecutive hours. After that i import my FS route, process it and refresh. After ICS textures copy over FS9 texture folder i start FS9 and this is my question: it always starts at system time ignoring ASV Auto Set Time.Maybe i should edit FS9.cfg: [sIM]SYSCLOCK=1 >>>>>>> SYSCLOCK=0Tried! If i set SYSCLOCK=0 FS9 starts with Starting situation (September 8th 2004) and not at ASV time. Maybe because i run ASV on a client PC? Wide FS is active before starting FS9 on main PC.:-hmmm And again, i read in your manual3) Automatically set the time/date in FS to match the start time/date....This automatic option does not apply to singular (non-consecutive) archive downloads. It means i should at least download 1 consecutive hour METAR?Thanks for helpingLuigi ;-)

Hi>Use the METARs in ASV that most closely match your time in>FS04.This is what i usually did in AS2004.5Now i'd like to use new ASV facilities like Auto Set FS Time on Archive DL: does this means that FS9 time will be set by ASV metar Date/Time? or i am misunderstood?Auto Set FS Time on Archive DL3) Automatically set the time/date in FS to match the start time/date....This automatic option does not apply to singular (non-consecutive) archive downloads. Thanks for your patienceLuigi ;-)

Hi,now the problem is that it doesn't happen on my PC also after Use System Time turned off.ASV is placed on a client PC. Could this be the problem?I usually start Wide FS + ASV, download METAR's and FS flightplans to get textures set updated (and this feature work fine). After that, when i start FS on main PC the time is always the one of startup situation, September 8th 2004Can you please helpThanksLuigi ;-)
