July 5, 200520 yr i must admit the new ASV i so NICE but one of the real reasons that i bought it was to be able to get the nice overcast when flying above... This has not improved(not in my system), and i have got an adition in that i get sudden pop up clouds?? I have read alle the other different forum question on the OVC problems, but the advise that has been given hasen't been helping me :-(any good advice????
July 5, 200520 yr Hi,Sorry you are having problems. First let's start with your settings. I need you to post your ASV.ini file. Also give us your major system specs.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg

July 7, 200520 yr Hi,There is no way your video card and settings are going to be able to keep up. You need to reduce cloud draw distance to 30, you need to limit your cloud layers to 3 and you need to be using 64 X 64 clouds, maybe 256 X 256.That is a nice processor, but that video card is really holding you back. Any chance for an upgrade?I hope you will try reducing those settings and see how things work out!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
