Metar for vatsim not shown but updates okay

Featured Replies

a couple of questions, I was just doing somr VFR in the NY area first time online with ASV and have some questions.1)Before I launched FS I put in my FP N51-KMMU 1500 ft and it processed it but the navlog never changed from DGAA or that airport forget which. It said that KMMU was about 4400 miles away, ive heard of such probs but cant remember the solution2)Whenever ASV fetched Metars either automatic or by the fetch box it wasnt vatsim's weather, the weather did update for vatsim, but the metars were the normal online, is that normal? Thanks

Hi,1. The navlog read DGAA or the ASV main window? I just generated a plan and the Closest Station Report and Dstination were correct. Also, the nav log was correct. 2. You were checking this against the VATSIM info right? You have the VATSIM option checked on? In SB is the weather checked Off?Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg

1)The Navlog showed DGAA, and on the main screen it showed closes station and it said distance to destination some 4400 miles2)Ya I was checking the metars against SB metars, I did turn SB weather off.

The metars suddenly were right, I dunno why but it synched with Vatsim. For my FP I just put int N51-KMMU no enroute stations. The ATIS's however did not correspond with the metars in ASV.This is very annoyinghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/122399.jpg
