July 15, 200520 yr I am happy with AS2005!But I keep wondering. How can it be that I am residing in Moscow - but when I start the program it downloads DG__something(Algeria and Tunisia)weather as a closest weather station?I love to spend vacations in Tunisia though!!!I installed SU1. It mentioned DGAA. Nothing changed. How can fix it?Thanks.NickMoscowRussia
July 15, 200520 yr Just a correction.By default AS2005 downloads weather in DGTK and shows 312 miles??!!I assume it's like 1,500 miles from Moscow to Tunisia or Algeria.
July 15, 200520 yr Hi Nick,Thanks for the purchase! That airport is closest to 0,0 and is the default airport for AS, before you load a plan or start FS04. Once you load a plan or start FS this will go away. Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
July 16, 200520 yr Hi Jim,I noticed that the VAS generation slows performance a little is there anything that can done about this. It seems to be worst if the vas point is close to weather update. Also how is the weather updated i.e. from the nearest station or every 10 mins? Can you please clarify this before I ask my next question. By the way do you have alink to the ASV banner in your signature?
