Hey Active Sky,Still having a great time with ASV. I realize that sometimes when I post comments like this it overlooks others who are struggling w/ ASV. I don't mean to do that. It's just working great for me. Anyways, I'm having a blast w/ ASV and I'm looking forward to the update! Now for the questions.Question 1I downloaded some new thunder and wind sounds; and some rain and lightning textures. Lately I haven't seen rain when there are lots of clouds, and haven't seen any lightning for ages. Yet if I go to a flight with preset weather that was downloaded w/ the new textures to show them off, I get all the sounds, and all the graphics (textures). I tried to enter this weather into ASV but after wrestling with ASV for several hours trying to get the weather into it, I just gave up. Now for the question.Is it just coincidence that I haven't seen "much" rain or any lightning, or does installing new textures manually into the FS9 texture folder foul up ASV and the Environment along w/ ICS?Question 2The rebooting for the aircraft doesn't seem to be working at the initial airport I take off from. The airports that I fly to and land at have aircraft taking off and landing according to the wind. I'm talking about uncontrolled airports. I'm not sure about ATC controlled airports. Now for the question.Does the aircraft reboot reset all the aircraft at controlled and uncontrolled airports and have them taking off and landing according to the ASV weather, or is it mainly for ATC?

Hi flight,1. The rain textures would only be affected if you installed VCRain textures. 2D rain and lightning would not be affected. I've changed my lightning a number of times and the frequency in FS did not change. Hope they were good textures.2. The Refresh AI would affect all planes, but I am not sure what procedures they follow at an uncontrolled airport. I would venture to say that they should follow the new wind direction.
