August 16, 200520 yr Good morning, I've done a search regarding this, but couldn't see anything...I'm trying to feed my 1-year old at the same time so may have missed it!Just wondering where AS gets it's weather from? I'm assuming that to get the most accurate representation of weather in AS, I should go to the source you use to get your download information.Lets say I had a hankering to see snow and wind lashing a city in AS. Not too fussed where. Can I go to a picture of world-weather somewhere on the Net on the assumption that what I see, AS sees, and will download if I request it?Hope this makes sense...CheersTim
August 16, 200520 yr Hi Tim,I believe that AS(both 4.5 and ASV) pull data from about 12 different sources. These are data sources and cannot be accessed. To locate bad weather I will give you some links:USA only:http://kamala.cod.edu/svr/For wind data:http://weather.uwyo.edu/upperair/sounding.htmlOther possibilities for you to explore:http://www.wx-now.com/Default.aspxhttp://www.intellicast.com/http://mpgtext.net/realmain/component/opti...tpage/Itemid,1/Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
