August 26, 200520 yr Jim, can I cut and paste that weather thingy (sorry to be so technical) you put above into AS4.5B193 at a later date and have it create the weather then?Sorry if that's a dumb question. There an hour left in my working week and my brain disengaged about an hour ago.CheersTim
August 26, 200520 yr Hi Jim,think no one is really taking-off with that weather...And, as I posted in one my previous thread ("Option to be added"), do you see this METAR is reporting a TS without any CB ? Bet some CB is present in a hurricane !
August 26, 200520 yr There were several of us on Vatsim tonight arriving and departing in Miami. Made for some exciting flying..... :)
August 26, 200520 yr Hi,And you know what?? I went to KMIA and sat around and had lightning and thunder all around me!! Don't take this the wrong way!! I mean it in a light humorous way!! Your request is legit. and I still have it on my list for Damian. I did get the cloud layers reported.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
August 26, 200520 yr OK, Jim, mine was just a remark...And ASV is a great program !And you guys give the best support in the industry !
August 26, 200520 yr Hi,I was just joking with you!! I sure am not mad that you posted that! You have always been a great customer!!!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
August 26, 200520 yr Hi Tim,The weather thingy is the METAR and no it is not easily done with AS2004.5. However, if you updated to ASV it wouldn't be too hard. But all is not lost! You can use the archive feature of AS and download the closest METAR. I would try the 1800Z from the 25th or the 0000z from the 26th. Sorry, but with AS2004.5 you cannot get hourly downloads, but with ASV you could. Just another reason to update!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
