September 1, 200520 yr Hi All, My question concerns the file that is downloaded when downloading an archive. Does this file contain world wide data and the relevant part then loaded when the flightplan is loaded and processed or are the archives location specific. That is, are there different archive files for any given time for different locations and therefore the location needs to be known before downloading the downloading.Regards,Shally
September 1, 200520 yr Hi Shally,Due to the HiFi download server problems yesterday (31/8) I could not load any weather when I wanted to fly in the Caribbean. So I cleared all (FS9-) weather and loaded an archive I had stored some 2 months ago when flying in Europe (nearly other side of the globe). And I had a weather environment Caribbean like.So the archives must contain world wide weather data I think.
September 1, 200520 yr Hi,Just to confirm: yes, any archive has worldwide data so you can treat it like Online weather(data).Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
