October 22, 200520 yr I've seen the answer to this somewhere but can't find it ...I get the subject error when I start ActiveSky, regardless of whether I start FS9 before I start ActiveSky or after. What can I do to get ActiveSky talking to FS9?Appreciate any help,Tom
October 22, 200520 yr Hi,Make sure FSUIPC.dll is in your Modules folder. Also if ASV is set to start paused you may need to hit the refresh button.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
October 22, 200520 yr Thanks for the reply. Neither of those suggestions fixed the problem.I uninstalled ASV and reinstalled - that didn't fix the problem either. Then I unregistered FSUIPC and everything worked OK! Re-registered FSUIPC and it stopped working. Unregistered and it worked. So, it looks like I can either use a registered FSUIPC OR ASV, but not both. Is this a known problem? Thanks again for your help,Tom :(
October 22, 200520 yr Hi Tom,OK that explains it. For some reason new registrations of FSUIPC are causing this in a few cases. Please write Damian at: [email protected] and explain this again. He is working on getting this straightened out.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
