Disappointed that I can't use ASVE

Featured Replies

Hi,I have purchased the ASVE with the most recent service update. Although its a terrific program I have not managed to complete a flight with ASVE running in background. The problems I mainly face are the ones with varying temps over water that causes my aircraft speeds to go berserk at cruise and more often than not, in the middle of a flight I have CTD issues of FS9.I download weather by starting ASVE first and then run FS Build2 to build a flt plan using downloaded winds aloft data. Import & process the generated plan in ASVE, and then start FS9. I have enforced constant route aloft temp but still faced the same problem. I tried flights disabling the option, but the issue still kept coming up. The problem has been very persistent in the service update too, and quite frankly speaking I do not use ASVE with any flights now. With ASVE inactive and downloads of FS9 weather I do not face any issues at all. I don't know if I'm missing something, which I'm sure, but am missing out on he entire ASV experience in my sim. :(Appreciate any help on the matter. Thanks in advance,Jay

Hi,Not over land areas, but at times, it just causes a CTD over land. Thanks for responding!-JayPS: Is there a way I can enforce ASVE weather conditions in FS9 & not have ASVE running in the backgorund for the now?

Hey, thanks Jim, I'm looking at a long haul actually. Can't wait for your team to fix this nagging temp/speed issue though! I love ASVE! And am missing out for the now! Best,Jay
