I have just applied the latest update to ASv6 and get the following error;ASG.exe - application errorapplication not correctly started (0xc0000135) I now read that all I need to do is go find something called net 1.1 or higher. I don't want to sound ungreatful for the update but just what is net 1.1? Lately I've updated a few programs and in two cases I have had conflicts which have caused me lots of grief and lost time to fix. Can I go back to asv6 as it was before the update I only wanted to update ASv6?

They are referring to Microsoft .Net version 1.1 or 2.0. You need that installed for Active Sky 6 to work since it uses the .Net framework. If you were using Active Sky 6 successfully before the update then that is not your problem although I have heard cases where the .Net software needed to be installed again.

Just what are we looking for, one file or a whole program? I keep finding .Net Framework and a heap of stuff about how .net is going to help me become productive. I just want to get ASv6 update to work.
