Realtime Weather Data from 15+ ASOS/AWOS availible free

Featured Replies

Greetings,My name is Troy Stanwyck and I'm a programmer for Stanwyck Avionics in Newburgh,NY. We've developed software for uploading realtime weather data from 15+ airports in the US that use old ASOS/AWOS systems and upload it to the Net every minute. Problem is, since the software we wrote is not FAA blessed, they won't let us advertise it to pilots as official weather, even though it's from their own equipment. So, in keeping with the belief that this weather data is free to anyone interested, we want to extend to you (for free), access and our technical support in using this data in your software in whatever means you see fit.Our goal is to get airports that can't afford expensive ASOS/AWOS system upgrades and outrageous internet hookups from their monopolizing ASOS/AWOS manufactures onto the internet for all pilots to access freely at a low competive price. In doing so, the FAA, National Weather Service, and ASOS/AWOS manufactures refuse to help us acomplish this, so our main help comes from people like yourselves through word of mouth and your software.Even though our data is not official yet, we want to extend this weather to those in the flight simulator community for their enjoyment. So please, if you can use this data for enhancing your product and also at the same time advertise our efforts in helping airports get online, let us know.Thank you for your time,Troy StanwyckStanwyck Avionics Inchttp://www.saiawos.comPlease visit our website and tell us what you think.
