February 20, 200620 yr Hi,Start FS04, go to the menu bar across the top of the screen. In Full Screen Mode press the Alt key. Click on Modules and then on FSUIPC. The main screen of FSUIPC should show and the Weather button is there.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg http://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannersupporter.jpg
February 21, 200620 yr Aha! I thought step 8 as written "choose "All Weather Settings off" option in FSUIPC (FS,Modules, FSUIPC)" meant you would find it using Windows Explorer. Thanks for the assist. What does chosing All Weather Settins Off do?Flyhigh
February 21, 200620 yr Hi,Glad you found it!This clears the weather settings in FSUIPC allowing AS to better control things, I believe.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg http://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannersupporter.jpg
February 21, 200620 yr Hi,On a related note to that, I want to register my FSUIPC, but it asks for the "key"....not sure what key it's referring to, my AS order number or something?THanks for your help.Dr. Foo
February 21, 200620 yr Hi,That is an additional, optional purchase, from SimMarket.com. Our program and an unregistered version of FSUIPC will work fine together.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg http://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannersupporter.jpg
February 21, 200620 yr Oh, OK. I didn't realize I had to go back to SimMarket.com to purchase it. What specific improvements/benefits are there to buying the upgrade? Will I notice anything more to what I'm already experiencing in ASV6 and FS9?Cheers,Dr. Foo
February 22, 200620 yr Hi,You can adjust the wind shift change. There are advanced visibility options and calabration options for complex controllers.I feel you can get the full experience of ASv6 with the free version, but always suggest supporting Pete and his efforts.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg http://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannersupporter.jpg
