March 7, 200620 yr I need some help.... I still get FOG appearing and desappearing. Whats going on. I didnt really have the issue with ASV5. Today at KDFW it was nice and VFR, but with a bit of fog and then I went down 200ft and it was all gone. I was not in a cloud or anything. I have the same issues at KSAN which is almost all the time doing it...Alex
March 8, 200620 yr there is this option in FSUIPC and in ASv6 for "visibility graduation" by height...in ASv6 there is although a "visibility" option category. sometimes you always have fog if your visibility range in fs9, in ASv6 options and in FSUIPC is too low. try calling the clear weather set over the "WX configurator", apply it to all stations and update/refresh. and start your flight in midday. if you are unsure about your settings ... set all to default in fs9, fsuipc and ASv6 and load just the "clear" weather set in the wx configurator, it never gave me any fog with default settings.regards, tom.

March 19, 200620 yr So Once I turn those off I shouldnt have any more issues? Will I still get some FOG if the FOG generation is on....Will it stay overcasted even when I am at 10000ft and above (cant see the grown type scenerios) I want it to be as real as possible....Alex
March 19, 200620 yr Hi Alex,The fog generation will only kick in if there is low visibility and no clouds reported in the METAR.In general, all of this is the hardest part of FS04.Overcast will remain if OVC is in the METARs. If we are talking about the visibility, then that will drop out at 10k. That is a limitation of FS04.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter
March 19, 200620 yr So no matter what I do it will be out by 10K ft. I want the most realistic settings. Also is there any tweaking to the configuration files (AS files) to make it as realistic as possible? I just want to enjoy ASv6 to the fullest.....Alex

March 19, 200620 yr I had the vis to 60 in the FS and then I set it to 70 and I get a haze at high altitudes. Haze is that same from 70 up tp 120+ Miles, but its non existant at 60 miles. Why would that be?Alex
