I need some clarification. What is the difference between AS Graphics and AS? I mean I know the difference but I don't know really how to use the Graphics. For example, the Graphics has Environments and Schemes etc.. which can be sent to FS9 but AS has a WX Configurator, what's the difference? When do you use the Graphics if AS can change the weather? Now that AS is installed, what do I set the weather to in FS9? Do I use the weather function in FS9 anymore? Any help please in explaining.

Hi,Not a problem at all asking about all of this!ASGraphics is your environmental texture loader. It can install textures into FS04 that you would see as you fly. The Themes are groups of texture that we packaged together because we think they look good together, so that is what those are. So instead of choosing individual textures you can choose a theme, if you would like. Now, the important thing to remember is that Themes contain no weather information/data, so loading a theme does not give you the weather that the theme preview screen shows. The main weather engine is AS. You will use AS to get all your weather data into FS04. You can use AS in Online Mode which uses the latest weather data or in Offline Mode which uses saved weather data.In FS04 the weather is set to User Defined and dynamic change is set to None. Then you never need to visit the weather screens in FS04 again. The wx Configurator is an option for setting up your own weather conditions. We have included some of the common conditions that users like to fly in and those are Weather Themes, not to be confused with the texture Themes. Right now I would suggest that you not look at this, but that is only my suggestion! You use ASGraphics before starting FS04 and you can tell AS to automatically load Graphics Themes on the options page.I know this can be overwhelming for a new user so I always suggest that users go through the manual while AS is open and just read and explore slowly. As you go through things, write things down that you have questions about and come back here to ask about them. After a while things will all flow and using AS will be smooth. Don't ever become so frustrated that you never want to use AS again!Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter

That does help. Thanks
