FPLAN in ASV6

Featured Replies

I would like to know the utility to import or create the FPLAN route in ASV6...I've bought ASV6 a week ago, since I believe that is the BEST wx software and I use FS9.1 as a training software Andy

Thanks to reply! :-)What I meant is which is the purpose to import the FPLAN inside ASV6...and since for my experience I don't like a lot beta version, how long is missing to the sp4 for ASV6, if you can tell itAndy

Hi,The reasons for a plan:1. To use the correct wx Influenced textures if you are using this option. Notice I wrote textures not weather. They are not the same thing! 2. If you are forcing any conditions, then AS need to know your departing and destination airports. The only way is through a flightplan.3. If you are using FlightWatch and want your destination weather conditions spoken, then you need a flightplan.4. If you want to know the weather along your route, you need to submit a flightplan. Not sure how long on SU4, it could be soon!Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter

Thanks a lot Jim!! another question related with visibilty: I've a registered version of FSUIPC, anyway, wich is the best way to have visibility smoothing within fs? which setting has to be modified? Also filling a FPLAN help with it?Andy

Hi Andy,1. Use the visibility smoothing option in ASv6.2. No, a fplan will not help with this. Remember that there are some characteristics in FS04 in regards to visibility that we have no control over.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter
