Modelling Heavy Localised Showers

Featured Replies

Hi, I was wondering, is it possible to model very heavy local/isolated showers, with associated windshear and turbulence??ThanksUKP

Hi,If the METAR code show heave rain then that data is sent to FS04. At that point we are under FS04s control of how it is shown.Windshear? Sometimes, especially with VAS turned way up to 100%.Turbulence? Kind of the same. We are under the control of FS04. Set that at 100%Remember that all of this is data driven and not a true representation of what may really happen in a storm! We try to do internally what we can!!Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter
