In a previous post regarding smooth horizons, you offered an excellent tip that helped me with sharp horizons, keep all flight levels looking smooth and realistic, and also helped my clouds from popping (in and out often in large cities with lots of weather stations - popping in and out repetatively). I take no credit for this as it was BOJOTE who leant the tip, but i thought it worth reposting it for harsh-horizon-naysayers to read!!BOJOTE wrote:"1) Start Active Sky Graphics2) Click the selection details option (little magnifying glass)3) You will now see two panes. The one on the right has several options. Look under Sky Color for the one that reads 'Day' and click on it.4) Now, on the left pane select the Seasonal Smooth Horizon 0001 texture5) Make sure you click the green checkmark now, (the one that reads 'Select this item') 6) Now click on the other green checkmark, the one that reads Send to FS7) When finished, click on the save theme option. leave Full Sky Theme selected and input the name: WX Influenced (Smooth Horizon)Click SAVE (Now, this is VERY important, on the RIGHT pane, make sure, before saving that the Day option, under sky color is UNCHECKED so it is not overwritten the next time this theme is autosubmited)8) Now, open AS6 as you normally would before a flight and 'change' the autosubmit WX Influenced theme for the one that reads WX Influenced (Smooth Horizon" Now, I have tried this with a few of the Seasonal Smooth Horizon sets in ASG and each one of them performs wonderfully, eliminating harsh horizons at all levels of flight for me.Thanks BOJOTE for a VERY usefull tip indeed!!Neil :)
