August 5, 200619 yr Hello,Is there a simple way to set the wind direction and speed to be the same at all altitues and locations?I have read all the applicable posts I could find. I understand that the metar wind settings apply only to 3000' and below. I have read how to save a wx file then edit the various winds aloft directions and speeds.I was hoping for an easier and faster way; like the FS9 weather options. In FS9 I can set the winds to anything I want with a few clicks.Thank for listening!Alan
August 7, 200619 yr Hi Alan,You can disable all Winds Aloft or you can Limit Surface Wind. But after that you would need to do the editing as you have read about. This is because right now we are focusing on real-world conditions/data. Who knows what the future holds!Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://dot.kelder.net:8080/fseconomy/
