Reinstall ActiveSky?

Featured Replies

I uninstalled FS2004 but kept the settings (in other words I didn't do a complete uninstall).I installed FS X and my machine could not handle it. I uninstalled it and reinstalled FS2004. Do I need to reinstall ActiveSky 6 from Scratch? Thanks.

Hi,I would suggest yes, because some files may be missing. If you would like a Full Install, please e-mail me your purchase information. Sometimes that makes things easier for you!Edit: What are your machine specs that you couldn't run FSX?Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

Hi, Jim.I don't remember my order number, but I still have the install package, so I think I can install it from there and then download the service packs.I have a P4 1.6 GHz, 768MB RAM, 128MB NVidia Geforce FX5200.It's not so much that I can't run it, but even if close to low settings and no dynamic traffic (land, sea, air), I can't get past 3 frames/sec at the airports. The transition time between the opening screen and the aircraft and back is also slow.I've talked to someone at work and he says my video card is bogging things down.I'll be buying a new computer soon. Thanks for the help, Jim.
