I installed FSX on a new PC along with AS. FS9 is not installed on this computer. I installed the full AS version 5 and upgraded to 6 and then 6.5. I seem to be having the same issues with FSX not apply the weather. However I am also receiving a "main thread process error..." when trying to use offline play back. AS will online update but it will not refresh FSX. I mainly use the offline playback feature which is fantastic.Any help would be appreciated,Kevin

Hi Kevin,Sorry for the problem.1. Did you install FSUIPC4 into FSX?2. Can you try a new downloaded weather file? I just tried an old archived file and things worked out OK.3. Does ASV6.5 recognize that FS is running and does it give your current location?4. My problem was a little different Jim. Sorry I didn't explain. My problem was that AS6 simply will not recognize the FSX folder (I've uninstalled FS9 and have fresh install of AS6.5)Even if I go into the ini and point to the FSX folder and the folder for WX files, it will not recognize. When I start AS6.5 I get an error something like "thread 6 not recognized", sorry for not being precise. Then if I let AS continue it will not update and just locks up. I have FSUIPC 4.02 installed.
