Active sky and weather pattern changes

Featured Replies

Hi People !I jsut posted a message some days ago who unhappy and unsatisfied i was with this product - but it seems like it was taken off form the library as i was critizing the product. I as just quite upset about the issue of weather pattern that are changing instantly as you fly. My biggest wish in that whole FS business is the weather. All teh other things are very realist. So please advise how to find a solution - IF there any exists.I am taking of from an Airport XY making a flight to XX. XY is having rainy weather with overcast clouds and low visibility. I am taking off going thorugh clouds and from one sec to the next - the overcast conditions are gone and i see the ground and looking back i see the airport. I wish you would go through overcast clouds for a while till you hit some better weather. Otherwise its so unrealistic. same on the apporach in this matter. I am apporach an airport where youc an see the runway and isntantly visibility is Zero. Is there a way in acitve sky to overcome this issue.Marek from LOWW

Hi Marek,You did get Damian's e-mail about this yesterday correct? In summary, it explained how you are not seeing weather shifts, but shifts in the visibility when going from high to low or low to high. This is something that, after many hours of experimentation, we have not been able to overcome, nor has anyone else. To work around this you can lower the maximum visibility value on the options page. You can also make sure that Depict FS Haze Layer is checked On.Lastly, your post was not removed for anything you said or that you were unhappy or unsatisfied.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
