November 3, 200619 yr Hi all.I have browsed through the manual available online and I have some questions before buying, just to make sure I have understood correct. I use FS9.1.I understand that I can use ACTIVESKY, like the default real-time weather generator without having to go through all the route processing. Is this correct?2.I read a while ago on a forum that the METAR within ACTIVESKY always differs from the real-world ones (ex NOAA and Jeppesen). Is there a way to have real weather data? Can ACTIVESKY be set to use an alternate server (ex like the default FS2004
November 3, 200619 yr Hi,Thanks for your interest in our product!1. Correct, but there are times/settings when a route must be used.2. Our data is real time, we just use different sources and we think more accurate data sources. No, just our server or the VATSIM server for Online flights can be used.3. If you wish to set the same weather for the entire route you may. Or if you want to set up different weather for each point you can as well.4. Yes it does. No, but if you have set this, you know the limit and any speed lower than the limit will be the METAR value. Please let us know if you have more questions!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
