Low coverage/oceanic weather stations question

Greetings, I just have a quick question about weather stations that are created by activesky for oceanic or low coverage areas, the stations that are set as $XXX etc at the end of each weather update, often in coastal areas. Is there any way to disable generation of those stations? The reason I ask is that I would like to use activesky to set the weather for my online ATC sessions, but I've noticed that if I do so on coastal areas, other players are not able to join my server. I suppose it's because their copies of FSX can't reconcile those activesky generated weather stations with their standard station lists.I am able to get it to work if I work ATC in a populated area, deep inland, say in Austria, where activesky doesn't set those $XXX stations.Obviously I prefer AS6 generated weather to FSX's feeble "real world weather". :)Thanks for your time! sorry if I've missed a setting somewhere that can let me disable those.Cheers.

Hi,There is no setting that you missed! I believe that if you back up the wx_station.txt list and delete those stations from the end of the list things should work for you.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
