Req. information before buying

Featured Replies

...Hi at all,...after years dealing with FS9 standard weather, I decided to consider switching to a more professional, realistic weather application, and (of course) my choice has fallen to ActiveSky...Before buying it I'd like to have some information about a couple of things...is possible to download the current weather, save it and load it later on the simulator? (I'd need this feature as I use the internet connection on one windows profile and, usually, play on another one, where obviously most of the windows services and programs aren't loaded...). I've also appreciated the various screens available on the product site, and, as far as I've seen, there's a bit of 'tweaking' to do before getting nice results...is there a tutorial around here that can help me with the best choice for the various options? At last, is FSIUPC registered version needed, or the free one is ok?Thanks for every help you can give...Syd

Hi Sydney,Thanks for your interest in our product!1. Yes, you can. We have Online Mode and Offline Mode.2. This is good: http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho..._id=24430&page=and we have an extensive manual that explains much. Then of course we are always here to answer specific questions.3. The free version will work, though we encourage the support of Pete and his efforts. Please let us know if you have more questions.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
