December 2, 200619 yr I think I read in one of the postings that the 'suppression ceiling' should be set relatively high and the suppression distance should also be close to 200 miles. Am I correct in this? I seem to remember that the ceiling should be like at 20,000 and distance less than 100. Which works best?
December 2, 200619 yr Hi,For trans oceanic flights a suppression distance of 200 is good. No, the ceiling should not be that high 10000 if you fly mostly heavies. Somthing less if you fly low and slow.Remember that under this altitude you are not getting updated weather.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
