December 18, 200619 yr Hi,Is there any possibility to force snow precipitation when temperatures are below 0 degrees c? If the metar reports VCSH (showers in vicinity) AS automatically process this as rain showers even if the temperature is well below zero. It would be nice to have an option to force snow when temps are below zero and precipitation is present. BrgdsKevin
December 18, 200619 yr Hi Kevin,No, because the opposite possibility is possible. It can also snow with an air temp above 32F. That is why we need to go by the METAR codes, because the codes truly represent the weather conditions at a station and not what we think should be happening.I hope this makes sense!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
