run time error when trying to print

Featured Replies

When I load a flight plan in the load route screen, everything goeswell. It loads, gets the data for the waypoints, displays all the data, but when I try to "print all" to a printer. I get the following error:"run time error '482' printer errorWhen I select ok it closes out activesky completely.I am running 6.5 build 533. on a Win XP media center laptop. What could be causing this? What info do you need other than provided? Thanks,Scott H.

Hi Scott,Sorry for the problem. What brand and make of printer? It could be the printer driver. You might want to see if a newer driver is out there.I did a Google search and this error seams to happen in Visual Basic when a default printer is not set. This is something else to look into. Please let us know,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

Figured it out. My firewall was blocking the printer from connecting to my pc. Saw that when you suggested checking for a default printer. Sorry for wasting your time. Thanks,Scott H.EDIT: The tech support response time was amazing!! Thanks again!!
