March 2, 200719 yr I am new to this great addon and wondering if ASv6.5 with Service Update1 is supposed to show wind driven snow while on the ground or have I not set it up correctly :-hmmm ? Example, CYUL 022100Z 07016KT 4SM -SN DRSN BKN009 OVC025 M02/M03 A2951 RESN; yet the snow is falling vertically, not influenced by the wind.K9
March 2, 200719 yr Hi K9,Thanks for writing! This is not so much an AS situation as it is a FS04 graphics engine issue. While not moving in FS04, precipitation will always fall straight down no matter what the METAR reads. It is only after you start moving that the precip starts to angle. Really nothing we can do about this.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

Would be nice if MS could add wind affected rain snow etc. Maybe, next time. Stay Sane, run fast, stay low.K9
