FS9 crashing with RadarContact

Featured Replies

Hello AS-Team,my FS9 crashes if i use AS with RadarContact. It happens when RadarContact wants to report the destination weather. Everything is fine, from takeoff to cruise.I loaded a flightplan into ASv6.5. First two times i entered an alternate airport to the dialouge and FS crashed. After that i loaded a FP without an alternate and managed to land with RadarContact reporting the destination weather. But unfortunately today FS crashed again without an alternate.I had FSMeteo before ActiveSky and never had such a problem. Please help me! It's frustrating to fly and to crash before landing! Here are my specs:FS9.1RadarContact 4.3FSVIPC 3.73Carsten Loeffelbein

Hi,Sorry for the problem. We need to go back and determine why your FS is crashing.Adding an alternate airport into Active Sky doesn't change anything in FS, as all that does is pull the weather report for the Nav Log.Any error report when FS crashes?Any add on scenery for the airport? If you don't run Radar Contact does FS crash? If you don't run AS does FS crash? If the crash happens when Radar Contact reports the destination weather, then there may be something wrong with your Radar Contact. Might want to post in the RC Forum as well. Please let us know and we will go from there.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

Hi Jim,yesterday i tried the same route (EDDM-EDDH)again with FSMeteo and did a perfect landing. As i wrote before, it always happens, if RadarContact 'asks' AS for the destination weather!'Any error report when FS crashes?' -> sorry, no. My hdd starts working and FS is closing and asks if i want to start again. (RadarContact and AS are still running without a problem. RadarContact is talking to me after the '4 minutes'. The Pilot contacts the controller and reports back!'Any add on scenery for the airport?' -> yes, GAP for both (EDDH, EDDM) it also hapens if i fly the return route.'If you don't run Radar Contact does FS crash?' -> i didn't tried it without RC, but with FSMeteo and had no problems. Let me tell you, that i had perfect flights with AS before.'If you don't run AS does FS crash?' -> see above, no problem with FSMeteo.'If the crash happens when Radar Contact reports the destination weather, then there may be something wrong with your Radar Contact. Might want to post in the RC Forum as well.' -> Will post the problem there aswell. But i don't see the problem with RC. But you never know! Thanks so far, waiting for your suggestions.Carsten
