When I check the TAFs in the open sky window while playing flight sim I get the current weather with no TAfs. I hit update and get nothing..How do I fix that

Hi,What Active Sky version are you running?I just tried and TAFs showed up for me.You are looking on the main Active Sky screen, under the METAR window, correct? Please let us know,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

I am using V6i open the engine, put my flight in after it downloads then open flight simonce in flight sim I open the display load my flight plan hit update and nothing...the weather changes but its not reflected in the reports

Hi,1. On the wx Report and Nav Log screen, TAFs are not shown by design, only the METARs. Are you using the New Route button?2. What do you mean by "the weather changes but its not reflected in the reports"? The report would have been generated when you put your flight in, in step #1. Starting FS04 and updating is not going to change the report. Screen shots are a great way of showing, what you are seeing, if possible. Please let us know,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

I put in the route in the active sky 6 program. It updates weather in the game...when I go to the tracking page in the game it does not show me the TAF. it has in the past

Hi,I am sorry, but I don't understand your terms. What tracking page in the game? Do you mean on the Active Radar screen? Do you mean the flight map in FS? Do you mean something on the Weather screen in FS?Instead of TAFs do you mean METARs? Except on the Radar Tracking screen, TAFs are never shown in FS and only in one place in Active Sky, on the main screen. If you do mean on the Radar screen, I can ask if you are loading and processing a flightplan in Active Radar as well? Yes, this would be a third place where you would enter and process a plan. Please let me know, as I am trying to help as much as I can!!Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

Hi,What tracking page in the game? When you play the game and hit Control F12 the Active Sky radar pops up. You select the Tracking page of this. There you have all the fixes with the weather.. You can select Departure and Arrival. From there you can get the TAF. I have gotten it before but I cant nowIf you do mean on the Radar screen, I can ask if you are loading and processing a flightplan in Active Radar as well? Yes, after using the Active Sky Program to place a NEW ROUTE, I go to the game and load the flight plan in the planning option of Active Radar. I hit MSFS and I select the plan. I then see the fixes on the flight. I then go to the tracking page and there is a place where I can select a fix and see its Wx or TAF and right under that is update.. it never updates nor does it show any TAF

Hi,OK now I know what you mean! What are you using for your flightplanner? If it is a 3rd party planner, then try this: re-save the plan in FS04 and then import the saved plan into Radar. If this does not work, then I will look into this further. Thanks, Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

Hi jet,When you come back, Damian looked into this and it is a problem at the NOAA site where the TAFs come from for Active Radar. We are hopeing that NOAA fixes this on their own.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
