Latest Active Sky 6.5 Build 552 For FS2004

Featured Replies

Hello, I have the latest build of Active Sky 6.5 Build 552 for FS2004 and when I hit Cntrl-F12. I do not get the Active Radar screen. Can someone help please and if there is a problem with this version which is the best version to go back to or the latest so I have the Active Radar? Thanks, Josh

Hi Josh,Have you receintly installed Active Camera? That uses the same key combination, overriding Radar. This has been true with every version since AS and Active Radar have been around. The work around is to use Alt/F/A to open Radar. If you are fast enough, FS will not even pause! Please let us know,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

Jim, No Sir no Active Camera involved... I have just recently formatted my hard drive and have been re-installing everything. Maybe It could be something to do with all the different ActiveSky's I have had to re-install. I start with AS2004.5, ASV then the ASV6.0 the the 6.5. Since I don't have active camera installed could it have something to do with the uninstalling of the older versions not sure. Didn't know if this could be the cause I do have a registed version of the FSUIPC 3.4.8.0 Didn't know if I need to update that if there is a more recent version for fs2004 don't know. Thank You, Josh

Hi Josh,On a re-format everything is clean.Within FS04, on the Flights menu, is Active Radar an entry? If not, try a Repair install of ASv6.Your FSUIPC is very old. Please go and update. This is not the cause of your trouble though.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

Jim, Hello yeah I formatted and re-installed my OS. So I am in the process of building the simulator back up and getting my payware files back on A.S.A.P :0. Ok here is the latest scoop... I have gone into the Simulator hit alt look under flights tab no Active Radar present. I got back to my ASv65-SU1 folder click the setup.exe it goes through the setup process no probs then pops up another setup for ASG. One thing I have noticed though that is odd is it goes through setup like there is no Active Sky installed. The prior versions I have had when I click the setup file or something similar to that nature it brings up the 3 icons asking if I want to un-install or repair etc. Didn't know if this one is similar or you changed that. I am lost. Oh i have also tried the Alt F/A no go. I have never had a problem with Active Sky like this ever. Thanks, Josh
