April 14, 200719 yr Can Active Sky (AS) and Flight Environment (FE) be used together? I have FE but will be getting AS soon, just wanted to see if I can use both or have to remove FE?
April 14, 200719 yr Hi,Thanks for your interest in our product! You can continue to use FS for your environmental textures and AS for your weather generation.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
April 15, 200719 yr Hi,FE contains water textures which AS does not.Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
April 16, 200719 yr Ok, I can understand the use of water textures, but I'm still confused on the graphics for clouds for example. FS has it's own way of generating cloud textures. So does AS. So what happens when you use both, does one overide the other? Or do you turn on/off features so they don't conflict?
April 16, 200719 yr Hi,The last program you use before starting FS will be the textures that FS04 will use. Each user needs to decide which they like better. Some like FE some like ASG and some go back and forth!!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
