Is there a manual for AV6.5? I want to get more information about the weather boxes on the Main Window.AV6.5 is great, can't imagine how I managed without it.Ken

Hi Ken,In the ASv6 folder you should have a User Guide folder and they are in there.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

Hello Jim,No, I have License.txt, revisions.txt and Setup.exe, that's all?Ken

Hello Jim,Thank you for the Link - I did use it; but later I found the ASV6.5 Folder! not your fault or mine - I put it down to Technology :) I have ASV6.5 installed on a networked 2nd PC using WideClient - the User Guide was in the Widelient Folder hiding in another folder named Modules!!However, though I have read through the Guide I haven't found the answer to my problem. On the main ASV6.5 Window, under Closest Station Report there are 3 oblong information boxes; in the bottom one there is wind info at different Flight Levels i.e. FL030: 250/2 (9.50) this info continues up to Flight Level 390 on the example I'm looking at. Similar Info is given at the bottom info box for Fetch a Report Section.Question - how should I use this information? ASV has already given the weather forecast.Ken

Hi,Great that you found the manuals! The format isAltitude Wind Direction/Speed (Temperature)You can use the data to make changes in your flight altitude to take better advantages of winds for tailwinds or headwinds.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

Thanks for your reply Jim. That's got that sorted :)I'm on my way from Turkey to Heathrow at the moment. It looks like I have now got ASV6.5 configuared to just my liking, looking good.Ken
