May 14, 200719 yr In setting up my flight from Salt Lake City to Atlanta, FS9 shows the wind to be 190/13 kts. Active Sky is giving at 350/7 and I'm directed to the northbound runway which would put me into a strong tailwind for t/o. Not a good idea.Any idea why the discrepency? Maybe to do with FSUIPC settings? I have most of that turned off so as not to interfere with Active Sky.Also, I guess this has been addressed, but I'd really like to limit my 'winds aloft' without shutting them off. Anything I can do to maybe limit to 70 kts? Thanks for the help!
May 14, 200719 yr Hi,Not sure about the winds, so some suggestions:Was this from the Shift/Z read out or ATC?In FSUIPC, weather setting Off and Default settings?Auto Refresh of AI turned On in AS?Did you wait until AS had processed all the weather data?As far as the winds aloft, no, there is no way to limit those through AS. You can force the Destination winds though, with that option On and a flightplan. Please let us know about #1.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
