A Few Issues

I have AS 6.5 build 552 and only have FSX installed (NO FS 2004)and keep getting this message when I load up the game:" AS has updated your FS Wx station list. Please restart FS if already running so new stations can be accessed appropriately."Also the banner won't disappear automatically. I had to switch it off in the options. One last question ...should active radar work with FSX ?Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi Craig,Thanks for starting a new thread! No, Active Radar is for FS04 only. We have tried to make that very clear on all our pages. We are working on a brand new version of Active Sky for FSX. Yes, this will require a new purchase as ASX is a totally new program just for FSX.What banner do you mean? If it is green METAR banner in FSX, then yes this option needs to be turned off in Active Sky.I am really not sure about the update message. If I only use FSX I don't get the update message. Are you using XP or Vista? Please let us know,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

" AS has updated your FS Wx station list. Please restart FS if already running so new stations can be accessed appropriately."I fixed this anomaly by running a registry cleaner. Must have been some FS9 lurking about :)

It displays an update but won't disappear on its own. No biggie I'll just turn off display updates in the options menu. I'm using XP.
