Asx - X graphics-FSX launch sequence

Featured Replies

Hi,I recently bought both ASX and X Graphics and really love it. Marvellous products. My question pertains to the ideal ASX - X Graphics - FSX launch sequence. I looked in the help files but wasn't quite able to figure it out myself (sorry).Ok, I want to start a flight in FSX from CYQB (Quebec City) with current weather data and with weather-influenced graphics by X Graphics. So, what I would do is :1. Launch ASX.2. Wait for the weather data to download (related to CYQB of course).3. Click the Report button. 4. Click the Install X Graphics Textures.5. Launch FSX and start a flight from CYQB.Now, between step 4 and 5, do I need to click the "Update Wx Influenced" buttons in X Graphics? Also, I'm having difficulties to figure out what the "Apply Weather" under "Wx Config".Thanks very much and congrats for this product.Louie.

Hi,Thanks for the words!Once you have done #4 you are done and ready to start FSX. Working this way, you don't even need to start up X Graphics. If you were designing your own weather you would need to click on the "Apply Weather" button in order to send your modified data to ASX and then it would be sent to FSX. If you are not designing your own weather, then you never need to visit this screen.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

Regarding the "Load Graphics" button. What does this do, as apposed to installing themes from AGX? I assume it overwrites the textures installed with the themes. Is that how it works?cheersMitchell
