Sound Acceleration and ASX

Recommended Posts

Guest abulaafia

Although I cannot take credit for discovering this (RESET MPC ALT Gary was the one, see FSX Hardware forum), I noticed that after setting "Sound Acceleration" in the DirectX control panel (RUN > "dxdiag") from "Full Acceleration" to "Standard" or even "Basic", not only are all my remaining stutters during gone, but the ASX interface has become vastly more responsive. Map now updates much much faster. Haven't noticed difference in sound quality at all. I use a Soundblaster card.==Marten:Weber==P-D920 oc3.64MHz 2GB RAM WinXP ATI X1900+1024MB 2xSATA250 2xVIEWSONIC 19"Need AI? Check www.world-of-ai.com!
