Getting overcast conditions

Featured Replies

Greetings,I was wondering if someone could help me with getting good overcast conditions for IFR flying. My system:FlightOps PC:ASX & XGraphics on remote VMWare machine.Flight PC:AMD 64 x2 4200+ATI X850 Ultra AGP 8x2GB RamFPS set to 20Cloud density MAX; draw distance 60nmI like to fly into areas with custome wx set to minimums. As an example: CYVR 1200 OVC visibility 2 miles. I've been using ASX all morning trying to get the overcast simulated. Howerver it just doesn't seem to get depicted correctly. In one case I set the base at 500 and the tops at 1500. At 2000ft I can still have VFR conditions. Does anyone have any tips or tricks that'll help me achive decent IMC conditions? Thanks,-Matt
