Why does the METAR timestamp lag 30+ minutes before it becomes available as a wx update? Are there other servers available with better currency? I know FSHost's METARs become available within minutes after the METAR timestamp (using adds.aviationweather.noaa.gov/metars) -- why can't AS6's servers be as prompt? Please let us know if there are options.Hawg

Hi,A good question.The reason is that it takes that long to gather all the data from our multiple sources and then process it and get it ready for our servers.
