August 22, 200718 yr Pardon me if this question is as daft as it appears, but I have ASX installed on a network computer. All works fine after some initial problems. I'm now thinking of XGraphics but I don't want to go thro' the hoops I had with ASX, so the question is, can I instal the graphics prog on my FSX pc, ie will it work correctly with ASX on the networked machine.Bud
August 23, 200718 yr Hi Bud,That would be fine!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
August 23, 200718 yr Sorry Jim, there was one other question. if I have ASX on the network, and Xgraphics on the FSX machine, what would be the situation relating to Xgraphics integration. Presumably ASX options would continue to indicate that Xgraphics is not installed.Bud
August 24, 200718 yr Hi,Correct so you would need to manually run X Graphics.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
August 24, 200718 yr JimSeems I've overdosed on my thick pills today. As I understand it, Xgraphics installs the textures afore FSX is started. Understand that bit - so if I want texts. to conform to the wx data as retrieved by ASX, does this mean I would need to start FSX, then ASX to get wx data, then install the appropriate Xgraphics theme, then close and restart FSX.Bud
