December 14, 200718 yr Hey,Today I bought both ASX and X Graphics at simmarket and ASX works perfectly. However, I felt that X Graphic's installation took very long and furthermore it won't load after installation: I get a message that X Graphics has encountered a problem and needs to close.The error log shows the following:EventType : clr20r3 P1 : xgraphicsengine.exe P2 : 1.0.0.291 P3 : 465a3b7e P4 : system P5 : 2.0.0.0 P6 : 461ef191 P7 : 2bb2P8 : 40 P9 : system.net.sockets.socket I am running XP.. Let me know if you need more info!Thanks in advance,Alex Best regards, Alexander Rietveld
December 14, 200718 yr Hi Alex,Sorry for the problem. I know X Graphics takes a bit to install, but please try a uninstall/reinstall cycle with your anti-virus off. Please let us know if this works.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
December 14, 200718 yr Author Hey,Unfortunately, uninstalling and reinstalling with my anti-virus off did not work as I am still getting the same error.I hope there is some other way to solve this problem! Thanks,Alex Best regards, Alexander Rietveld
December 15, 200718 yr Author Moreover, I have downloaded the X graphics setup file again from simmarket (because I thought there might be something wrong with the downloaded file) and I have also reinstalled .NET 2.0. However, none of these potential solutions works..I also tried installing the X graphics service update 2.0 hoping that it would work, but I was not able to install the update as it gave an error that X graphics was not found on my system. Maybe this information could help! Thanks,Alex Best regards, Alexander Rietveld
