February 2, 200818 yr Just wondering how to start ASX/XGraphics with FSX, I've got two basic questions,1. Should I open ASX first (Before opening FSX)and load/import my flight plan within ASX. Afterwards a prompt window appears to load XGraphics. I load XGraphics and then from the ASX window, hit the button on the left "Launch FSX". Or should I first open FSX, select my plane and flight and then open ASX/XGraphics? 2. There's three options in the ASX window (top-right menu), a. sends ASX to the system tray, b. minimizes ASX, c. click to quit ASX. If I'm opening and running ASX, do I use option a. or option b. ? What is the difference or consequence between a. or b. ?
February 2, 200818 yr Hi Tony,1. Use your first method. For texture loading, except for cirrus clouds, FSX must be closed.2. They are basicly the same. Some like the tray, some like the task bar so that you can alt/tab to ASX.Hope this helps!Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
