HiThis maybe my fault, when you import a flight plan into the weather engine it loads I assume weather for the route.I flew from EGLL to KSFO lastnight, and the weather stayed the same all the way to KSFO. Heres my questionsShould the weather update en route and change??Does the map update the position of the aircraft. With graphicsX once a theme is installed does it stay the same for the whole route???As I said I got the weather for EGLL and it seemed to stay the same all the way.I had been using FEMETEO and that updated at every way point.Rgds

Thanks

Paul

Hi Paul,Yes, weather should change along the route, so something is not right on your system. I am going to assume ASX-X Graphics here:1. Does ASX recognize your current location in FSX?2. Any error messages on the ASX main screen?3. Is the box Lock to FS position checked On?4. Yes, the Map screen should update. Is this a singel computer install or network?5. A X-Graphics theme just contains textures and no weather data. Once FSX is started, most textures cannot be changed, so the texture theme is the same until you close FSX and submit new textures. This has nothing to do with the weather conditions. Please let us know!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

Does ASX recognize your current location in FSX?Yeah its installing weather for takeoff fine and matches ok. But the weather yesterday seemed the same for the entire route it was really good over EGll Xgauge was showing clear skies, but there was cloud. I'm not complaining, I really like the software so far. Just asking for my own info thats all. Radar Contact is reading the weather from FSX fine also.I just flew from KSFO to KLAX seemed to work out fine, QNH changed, clouds were really good. I could see ground this time and it wasnt a white out :-)>>2. Any error messages on the ASX main screen?Heres the logNo error messages at all, but I will check again08:22:27: Loading additional weather stations...08:22:32: Additional stations database load compete for 1704 stations08:22:33: SimConnect found and initialized08:22:34: Module Found: C:Program FilesHiFiXEngineModulesASX.DLL08:22:34: ASX module load commencing...08:22:34: ASX ModuleFolder set to: C:Program FilesHiFiXEngineASX08:22:34: ASX settings have been loaded...08:22:36: ASX controls initialized...08:22:36: ASX v1.0.0.1106 Copyright
