May 11, 200818 yr Hi there,1st Great product, great team, great customer service... to have your customers be part of testing and feedback is great.Anyway, Prior to this evening I was running the last Beta 1158 i believe before upgrading to the 1160 final SP3 release of ASX. No issues... then this evening my aircraft just started spinning out of control. Like i hit bad air. I was around CYHZ where conditions were winds 070 at 18G25, so typical halifax weather ;-)... so anyway, thought it was me or whatever, anomalies happen.Reloaded and game into Landing at CYHZ and as I touched ground, I started spinning out of control like there was wake turbulence. Ive never had this happen before? Then my aircraft started flying backwards, and totally out of control, with throttles at idle... then when going backwards i gave it full throttle, still no luck. No traffic by the way.I don't know if its related to ASX SP3 (b1160) but I thought I would share experience as this is the last thing i did tonight before logging onto VATSIM.Here is my setupPent IV Hyperthreaded 3.2GHz, 2GB Ram, 132GB SATA HD, Plus 80GB SATA HD, ATI x1600 video 512MB, FSX/SP1/AccSP2, ActiveSkyX, XGraphicsI was on VATSIM flying the CaptainSim C-130X Hercules which was spinning around like a Cessna in 747 jet wash.Any ideas? Thanks for your time,MarkMark ThompsonHalifax, NS, Canada
May 11, 200818 yr Hi Mark,Thanks for the words! Not real sure here. I just went to CYHZ with similiar weather, loaded the 172 and flew a bit with no unusual results. You had any weather options in your VATSIM software turned off? Or you didn't enter Slew mode did you? Please let us know.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
May 11, 200818 yr Hmm, no, didn't go into slew. I get rid of any short cut keys to slew so I don't accidentally turn it on. In my settings I have Enable Vatsim Download weather turned on. 100% for Wake Turb with Depict Hurricanes and Enhance Route coverage onUnder Wind Shear I have 100% but no options checked off underneath (Enable Wind smoothing is unchecked, but have it on in FSUIPC.I will do some more testing and let you know. Thanks for checking it out.Mark
May 11, 200818 yr Hi,What program do you use to connect to VATSIM? So in that program you need to have any weather options Off.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
