May 19, 200818 yr After three satisfied years running ASV and AS6/6.5, I finally upgraded to ASX. So far I am very pleased. The only hiccup I have so far is the ASX program window, which is too big to display on my 1152 x 864 monitor. Since this is a .NET app, I am guessing that the problem is my fonts, which are set in Windows to 120% of normal; this often creates problems for .NET apps. In any case, I am looking for a work-around so that I can fit the window on my screen. Is it possible to resize the ASX program window, if not through the normal Windows interface, then through a registry or .ini edit? Thank you for your help.
May 19, 200818 yr Hi,Thanks for writing. Please try and reduce your fonts to 100%. You cannnot reduce the size of the window, but if I remember correctly, it should fit with your screen resolution.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
May 19, 200818 yr Thanks for your reply, Jim. I tried fonts at 100% for a few hours today, and adjusted as many Windows items as I could, but some items were still too small for easy reading (e.g., text on taskbar). I ended up reverting to 120 dpi. Vista, which I use at work, seems to be friendlier in this respect.
