Flying into Hurricane Bertha

Featured Replies

About an hour ago, I took off from Grantley Adams Intl Airport, Barbados (TBPB)and flew east into the storm using ASX B1160. I had to climb to about 25,000 ft to begin to get above the storm. This screenshot is after slewing to around 30k.bertha.jpg

Yes, cool indeed. Here are a few more from the eye. The F18 makes a better platform for getting above the storm.BerthaEye.jpgBerthaEye4.jpgBerthaEye3.jpg

Any reason why??http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn245/a...1/hurricane.jpg

Hi,I don't either tonight. I checked and she is now a TS so that may be why. Are you getting Fausto off the coast of Mexico? Strange thing is that Cristobal is a TS also, but I am not sure how often our hurricane data source updates their system. Let's see what happens by morning.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

YES! Me too!! I just have to fire up FSX now and fly over (through) a hurricane to the eye!
