July 13, 200817 yr HiJust reinstalled FSMETEO, and flew EGLL to EDDF no problems in temps at all, all normal. I just bought lvld's 767 and flew last night using ASX temps climbed the same as the plane, i.e 15deg C on the ground at FL180 +26deg C FL260 +34deg C. Done the same flight using FSMETEO no probs, -15deg C @ FL260.can I get ASX back to its original state before SP3????? or can I reinstall it and use SP2 only ?? Not sure I still have the original install file now, can I re-download that to try again ??Please advise as this is so irritating. Does the same with PMDG 747, and default MS planes. I have WinXPThanks Thanks Paul www.airlinephoto.co.uk
July 13, 200817 yr Hi Paul,I'll try the flight tonight to see if I can re-create this.Unless you have your original download, there is no way to go back and SP2 is not posted anywhere. Please watch this thread for my results.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

July 14, 200817 yr Hi Paul,I just finished my flight and all was good with a default MS plane. TAT temps were all below 0C and if I flew near stall speed then TAT almost matched up with the ASX temps.Something to try: go anywhere and just slew to each altitude: 3K, 6K, 9K, ect. and watch the TAT. These should exactly match the temps in ASX disregarding rounding. I tried this also and things were right on.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
July 14, 200817 yr Author Hi Many thanks for trying that, its really strange. I just carried out a flight using ASX that I used FSmeteo on yesterday. LSGG to EGLL no problems with ASX or FSMETEO. I dont understand what the #### is going on, is it old stored files or panel configs. I really dont understand, I'm not 100% into FSX workings. I will continue using ASX which was 100% stable this time, it always seems when I leave base EGLL it all goes funny, I have Aerosoft heathrow 2008, but dont see that as having any bearing. So why would loading a previous saved flight affect ASX....Should I delete my EGLL saved flights and start again ???Any advice would be great, as I am lost. But I am sure its to do with loading and leaving EGLL.Many thanks again Thanks Paul www.airlinephoto.co.uk
July 14, 200817 yr Hi Paul,Saved flights do have a saved weather file associated with them, but once a weather program processes data, the old data is overridden. I would start a fresh flight each time. Thanks, Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
