July 25, 200817 yr I'm having some issues with cloud placement using ASX. I've been looking through the forum, and I have found somewhat similar issues elsewhere.here's the problem:The weather at the airport, in real life, is clear blue sky. But when I go to that airport in FSX, there are clouds, often cumulus clouds that are far too low to the surface. Basically, the weather data from ASX isn't matching the sim. Another example: last night, I was flying into Catalina Island (FSX) and the weather report said No Clouds under 12,000 feet. Well, I could see out in front of the plane MANY clouds at about 2600 feet. Completely wrong. I see this over and over. Clear skies outside my window----but clouds in the sim. Something is wrong, right? In ASX, I have the cloud range set all the way up to 200, as I've seen mentioned in these forums.I really like the potential of ASX, but I think I have something set up wrong...or the product is deeply flawed.I'd appreciate anyone's input if you have a minute.thanks! terenceFSX--SP2--ASX SP3--FEX
